BART track fire between Lafayette and Walnut Creek
Have you heard about the BART track fire this evening? If you were on one of the disrupted trains, let us know how you felt BART handled the situation? Were you well informed? How helpful were the bridge buses?

On BART at about 9 pm in the City, they were making regular station announcements about the disruption and bus bridge. However, it seemed like trains had shifted from their usual 15-minute headways to about 30-minute headways (yowza).
Related to that, can the folks on the radio find a better way to describe BART delays? When a train is operating at 10-minute headways, then a "10-minute delay" should mean that a rider will see a train to his destination arrive at the same time one would have. Of course, I'm not sure what would be better...
